INDY CROSSROADS CHEERLEADING COMPETITION AND SIDELINE CHEER

• The competition division is recommended for any age group and all skill levels
• Depending on the size of the competition will decide if the grade will split into small and large divisions. 
• Participants can age up but NOT age down.

 Ex: Cheerleaders must be in second grade to participate in the 2nd-grade division. 2nd graders may participate in the 3rd grade division if teams are combined however, 3rd graders may NOT age down to the 2nd grade division.  

• Each team will have the opportunity to warm up before competition time. 
• The warm-up space will be a gym floor.
• The competition will be held on Deadmat. 
• Coaches are expected to be spotters for their team if necessary. 

All cheerleaders should feel safe and comfortable with the skills they are doing. Do NOT have cheerleaders do skills they are not ready for. We want a fun and safe experience for everyone! 

Exhibition teams will not be scored or competing with any teams, it is primarily a fun and new opportunity for teams. 

• A league can decide to have one or more of their teams’ participate in the EXPO and NOT compete. 
• This is designed for younger age groups, however, any age group(s) may participate in the exhibition division. 

The performance can be anything your team feels comfortable performing in front of others. Teams can perform any combination of skills including  cheers, dances, chants, jumps, tumbling, stunting, etc. 

Exhibition teams will perform before competition teams.   

Game location, times, & details will be available on the app, tourney machine.

We understand that the competition might be difficult for those traveling. Your teams can still cheer at the football games as opposed to participating in the competition. Sideline Cheerleading includes a fun weekend cheering on your football team! Three games are ensured for all teams.
